Is it normal to hate the sound of autotune?

I can't stand the sound of autotune. I can barely listen to songs that have been autotuned. The robotic sound drives me crazy. It ruins the vocals and the song. It's unfortunate too because it saturates the music industry with singers that lack talent. Does anyone else hate autotune like I do?

    I usually hate it but justin Vernon makes good use of it ocassionally , maybe it's because he has a great natural voice and chooses to occasionally use auto tune to match an instrumental rather than with kanye, I love him, but he can't sing so uses auto tune instead I'm not a fan of it which is why I don't like 808's and heartbreak

        Oh it was abysmal, I expect more from both of them even though I'm not a huge McCartney fan

        In fact it was so bad that the first time I heard it I though I accidentally clicked the wrong link

    Better get used to it mate. Most of today's singers are talentless dropouts that make cash by singing repetitive, annoying and stupid songs that appeal to the masses.
    That's why I rarely listen to the radio. Whenever I do listen to the radio, I listen to the only rock station.

    Talent shows and media pressure have lots to do with it
    Simon Cowel is only one example of shitty pop singer kickstarters...
    That ass sits at home listening to the Beatles, but shoves shitty teen bands down our throats as the next music legends!

    Fuck that, I want the golden age of rock and roll back!
