Is it normal to hate to use pencils?

One of my english teachers took off points evert time we used pencil for any assignment other than drawing... At the end of the year he told us that he hates pencils because he once stabbed his bro in the butt with one

Then use CRAYONS,MOTHERFUCKER/BITCH!

I love my pencils me. But then, I'm a composer, so lots of need to correct/update passages in my scores!

I prefer how my writing looks in pencil than in pen, but each to there own.

Omg im the same way i hate using pencils i actually have asked all of my teachers who require using pencils if i can use a pen all but one let me use a pen

pens are so soft and smoooooth feelin. pencils are like skkssshh skkssshh and all creepy feelin when u write

it's normal I can't stand wrighting with pencils i refuse to do so. Its so unnatractive and gives me a horrible feel.

I hate them because that chalky wood feeling and sound. Mechanical ones are nice but i use pens 90percent of the time

I'd say it's normal. One of my friends can only use mechanical pencils. Personally, I'd prefer to use pens. That is if they didn't keeping going in and out on me every friggin second! D;

pencils are like nails on chalkboard for me...

The only reason that I don't like them is because I got a splinter once when I was little and that basically scarred for life :(
