Is it normal to hate velcro!?

Everytime I hear the sound of Velcro it makes my ears kill ! It's the most annoying sound I have ever heard!!

    I wear my tan velcro shoes in the swimming pool along with a helmet and speedo. The girls really like my look because they all smile at me.

    I hate both the sound and the feel of Velcro. Velcro instantly reminds of me people with bad fashion sense and kids who don't know how to tie their shoes. I have a similar hatred towards Spandex and Velvet.
