Is it normal to hate when people say "be social"?

I spend almost all of my time alone, because I have found that solitude brings me peace. I work over the Internet. Sometimes I go and look at things that are on the internet and learn about what's going on in the world news-wise. Whenever I venture onto a forum and talk about the things I believe, the users often ignore what I tell them and focus on how 'sad' I am and how much of a 'loser' I am. I laugh because I am one of the happiest people on Earth. I say I hate when people say that, but only because they are missing the ways I found what gives me happiness.

It's normal,I think perhaps you're afraid that socialising will mess up the happiness you've attained .

Work over the internet? I'm jealous, I envy you! Lucky bum! I would say it's normal. I'm the exact same way, whenever someone tells me to 'get out' and 'socialize' more I can't help but blow them off an laugh at them. I find it sad that they can't see how happy some people are when they are alone doing their own thing.
I do enjoy going out for walks and such with my friend but not to socialize with others or anything we are always off in our own little world.
