Is it normal to hate yourself for being a class valedictorian?

Of course, that sounds abnormal. To clarify why did I ask this, it will take 24 hrs so let me just ask you shortly.

Let's say I'm not that really smart to be a Class Valedictorian, and I know myself too well (that I don't even deserve to be the one.) So here's the question, what if I don't want to give a speech on our Graduation Day? Is it possible?

If you have any desire to go to a good college and get a good job, why would you even think twice about the honor? Perhaps you really aren't smart, just as you claim.

Sounds more self confidence related. You should be proud of yourself!! Even if you didn't have to work as hard as others to keep good grades it will be easier for you to get into a college you want and you'll be better prepared for it. Those are all great things! Also there's nothing wrong with a humble speech.
