Is it normal to have a brother who ships weird stuff?

I’m a victim of child sexual abuse (which my brother doesn’t know about) so that may influence how I see this. A few years ago I saw an email on my brothers computer [34 at the time] (which was in the living room) from a phone sex website from the user ‘barely legal’ as I was 11, I was a bit grossed out but let it go. Recently, he made a joke about himself shipping a 16 year old girl and an adult man that is obsessed with her, but seemed serious about shipping it. I assumed I heard him wrong, so I awkwardly laughed and left. Recently I was complaining about someone who said shipping incest was fine, and he said he thought it was normal. I’ve always been close to him, and would describe us as best friends, but I feel uncomfortable and kind of unsafe about him, but I don’t know if that’s founded in anything.

Shipping incest in real life isn't normal.

Tell him to go watch some anime incest and ship people in that.

What exactly is he shipping? You just say shipping a 16 year old girl and an adult man. Is it nudes, is it the person itself please clarify. I think age of consent should be 16 but that’s with consent on all things like. I shouldn’t be aloud to post a sex video of an ex no matter how old she is without consent. If he’s doing stuff like that with someone who isn’t legally of consensual age then it doesn’t matter. It’s not ok. And if it’s a child then they can’t consent. And you have to do something about it to protect the child.

Shipping means believing two people should be in a relationship, so it meas he believes the 16 year old should be in a relationship with the adult (that isn’t him) the age of consent where we are is 18, and he acknowledges that he is shipping a child and an adult

Ok then he’s in the wrong. If he believes that age of consent should be 16 he should be be trying to change the laws but still obeying the laws. And if he acknowledges that this is a child then he believes in nothing and is in the wrong. In this case I’d go to the police.

I think it's all just harmless fantasy as long as he doesn't condone those types of relationships in real life.
