Is it normal to have a creeper on facebook?

On Facebook there is this guy who I don't know, but randomly talks to me. He is 24 and I'm...... Well a lot younger than him. Anyway. He is always going on about how much he loves me, and wishes to marry me when I'm older. He also apparently lies about my age to his parents because they wouldn't approve of the age difference. It creeps me out. Is this normal?

    Delete. Block. Report.
Just because you haven't been taken in by his attempts, doesn't mean that someone maybe younger and less naive won't be. He needs to be stopped. Even if his intentions aren't as bad as they seem he's still acting really creepy.

Agreed, block, delete, report regardless if you feel bad about it, you have to think of your own safety. Did you hear about the girl who met up with 2 guys she met on fb? She was raped and murdered. Think about that.

A lot of people seem to forget the block feature, it's kind of obvious to use it

age dif is not that important as our parents will lead us to believe .. im 16 my bf is 24 and he rocks my world ... guys at my school my own age are like retarted monkeys compared ... and he's got the means for us to take weekend adventures all over the place.... anyway if you like this guy dont let age blind you ... if you dont like him then delete / block :) i think its normal tho ... guys like younger girls and any of them that say they dont are just liers.

Obviously you like the attention or you wouldn't be "humoring" him. You came on here seeking advice and you're getting good responses in telling you to block and delete him, yet you're still trying to justify talking to him. Classic case of young and stupid. Don't get sucked in.

Emotionally attached? I humour it, go along with it, but I don't actually like the guy.

My friend also met a 24 year old who claimed he wanted to marry her. From what I can tell, you seem emotionally attached to him (though you're smart enough to know he's a creep). Luckily my friend stopped talking to him - I suggest you do the same.

Sounds like a predator. I'd either notifiy the police or buy a gun. The first one's probably better though.

I don't want to sound like a broken record but seriously ... BLOCK AND DELETE HIM!
It's common for guys to prey on young girls, but it is NOT normal.

I feel guilty if I do that though. It makes me feel bad!

It is completely normal to have creepers on Facebook. It IS facebook after all! However, you should still block communications with him, even if you like the attention he gives you. Sometimes someone may look harmless, but in reality they can be far from it. Just google the words "Facebook related murders/rapes" and it should give you incentive, especially if he has delusions of marrying you etc.
