Is it normal to have a fear of gas stations?

I may just be paranoid from watching too many cop shows but I am afraid to walk into a gas station thinking it will be robbed or a car will crash through it.

    The Men's Rooms are even more frightening.
    They always looked like someone had a live grenade shoved up there ass and it exploded.

    You won't have to worry about frequent gas station robberies or cars crashing into them unless you live in or near a ghetto neighborhood.

    I feel a strange anxiety everytime I go and get gas, like I'm going to mess up and loose my money, or the pump will explode, or my car will get in some accident...
