Is it normal to have a strong hatred for religion..

There's no way you can scientifically disprove religion so how can you be 100% sure it's not true? Try making an argument on when the beginning of time started and see where that leaves you.

Why are you superior for not believing in god? Yes, people have done terrible things in the name of religion, but have you ever studied religion? Explored the possibilities? Have you studied string theory or the duality of light? How can you witness the intricate miracles in the world and not believe? Maybe you need to open your mind, and if not then check yourself at the door and show some respect

People can believe whatever they want and they shouldn't be called ignorant or stupid for believing anymore than you could be called an idiot or moron for not believing.

I think its normal to hate religion- especially if it was rammed down your throat throughout childhood. When i meet up with my mom somewhere and she starts talking about religion and/or God i can feel my blood pressure rising... X0

I Agree. Many religions scare people into submission saying stuff like If u don't believe in god and repent you will be tortured on hell forever. And if religion Is all about peace why have there been bloody wars over the "holy land"? I also don't like how they just stand on street corners holding out signs saying the Antichrist is coming join aNd be saved bla bla bla. Or they just start preaching to random people that need to be "saved", even when the people don't wNt to be saved because they Are happy with their current lives. Religion is just an excuse for people to limit themselves and commit their lives to something that might not even be real.
