Is it normal to have a teacher that terrifies you?

A teacher that just makes you feel naked, exposed, and terrible who is like the monster under your bed when you were a kid. Makes you hate and fear him/her and hate yourself, makes you depressed, anxious, nervous, panic. Makes you feel inferior and stupid, makes you feel like he/she hates you. Makes you want to cry.
Is this very common, fairly common?
And yet, all the other students and classmates seem to love the teacher...

    whyyyy would you fear a teacher.? period. and that person should nooooot make you feel like that at all fuck them

    I went to a private school and every single one of them terrified me. Plus we were caned and humiliated at every opportunity! Keep your head down, do your work, and pray you don't get that teacher next year.

      private schools are for chumps... and so is a normal school (only sayin this cuz i got kicked out of school for pulling a knife on some dudes who where way older then menand whete beating up my best friend bertha)

    8th grade. He was a good teacher, but i am to this day scared of him. Some people just have a preditorial look to them.

    one of my high school teachers sexualy abused me his name was mr.jackson he was the french teacher he alwas grabbed my ass and stuff but he once grabbed my balls and every one looked at me thinking i liked it so i beat the shit out of mr.jackson and he was fired and sent to jail.
