Is it normal to have an unusual desire to shoplift

Ok I used to shoplift all the time and it is such a rush and adrenaline thrill but I almost got caught so I stopped cuz it was serious but every time I go to the store and want something but can't afford it, i feel the rush again. IIN?

You might be addicted to the rush. It's the same thing that drives a lot of people to compulsively do dangerous, exciting, reckless things. That risk factor. It's a form of gambling, only you're gambling with your freedom.

    Or possibly you're a kleptomaniac:

On a personal note, I have stolen multiple times in the past. Small items from supermarkets. It was more to see if I could. And to do something bad, a sort of victimless crime I suppose (the supermarket is the victim, but the impact is less - on my conscience at least). It's childish, and I haven't done it for a while. The last time was when I stole a flower for my then girlfriend.

You have Kleptomania. It's not normal and you should seek treatment for it.

I think shop lifters are cool, it's more common than people think. If I had the guts I would.

It's so common that stores build in losses due to theft into their retail prices to make up for it.

I used to love shop lifting, I even stole shit I didn't want plus walmart are evil so it's not like a crime.

Thts what I used to do too but this crazy bitch caught me almost and I stopped. I actually managed to get Nintendo DS for my lil sis (I wasn't gonna tell her where I got it) I tricked them into opening it and had a friend call for his help (they've changed their policies now lol) and I was about to take it out of the box but this cashier bitch found the box and confronted me and I ditched the DS. Was uber pissed

You do realize that loss prevention at stores for the most part is PURELY scare tactics. They won't, and in most cases, aren't even allowed to chase or touch you or even make you open your bags. The things at the front of stores that beep, yeah, scare tactics, next time one goes off on you, just keep walking and see how much they don't care. For the sake of argument, my friend worked at ROSS as a loss prevention "officer", and he was only allowed to follow and look at you (he couldn't even say anything to thieves), until pussies like you get scared into not stealing. Next time look up the stores policies. (avoid stealing from Target, they have the best cameras in the biz, and their loss prevention officers WILL tackle and arrest you) Walmart even has a rule that they don't press charges if the item stolen is under $10 or $15, and most of the black camera domes on the ceiling are empty.
Not that I'm proud of it, but I've stolen a lot from Walmart. One time, the item even slipped out from under my jacket RIGHT in front of the guy sitting in a chair by the exit door who is supposedly there to stop shoplifters. Guess what happened? NOTHING, I looked him straight in the eye, ready to run, but he just gave me a "fuck wal mart, i don't get paid enough for this, i didn't see anything, keep on walking" look.

Well, like I had mentioned in the details, I don't do it anymore lol. I just have urges to take them. Remnants of the need to maintain myself maybe?

Amateur, I walk right by the help desk in the back with a six pack under my jacket to go to the bathroom so that I can then inconspicuously hide each bottle unnoticeably in a separate pocket and then toss the box in the trash.

You do it for the rush. It's understandable but that doesn't make it right. Shoplifting isn't as bad as stealing from your friends and family, but it's still very wrong.

Yeah, I used to shoplift a lot. Mostly just candy bars, chips, snacks like that. Then I started taking requests and I stole bigger stuff like vacuum cleaners (three of those, actually). I eventually went to jail (for unrelated reasons) and that straightened me out. Well, for the most part.

Don't judge everyone else by what you do, or I should say, what you DON'T do. Obviously, you're a freeloading welfare queen, who is too lazy and/or too stupid to work.

Whether others work hard for their "stuff" or not is irrelevant because it is still THEIR stuff, not YOURS, you fucking thief!

Hey calm down dude. I have shoplifted when I was 7 yeah very young. Just think about the shame of being caught when you have the temptation. There is nothing abnormal about this but it isn't exactly right either

Example: "Ok but like I see something just anything and ill think ...."

It's "I'll," the contraction for "I will," not "ill," which is a synonym for "sick," you ignoramus! Additionally, there should be commas after "OK," "something" and "anything."

Everyone makes the occasional typo or grammatical error, but it is obvious from your posts that you are an uneducated buffoon!

I type, expecting my auto correct to correct here and there, wherever I just so happen to leave out a "critical" detail to make hypocritical bastards such as yourself happy, or your twisted version of "happy". Instead of having to comment on EVERY post I put somewhere, get a new hobby
