Is it normal to have be overly obsessed with fire alarm systems

I always feared them as a kid because the scare the crap out of me. but not I am overly obsessed with them, I know exactly how to wire up an alarm system, and to make it work.They are very interesting to me now.

    I work in fire protection installing sprinkler systems. That's another kind of job related to it if you were curious.
