The safest thing would be to talk to a doctor, especially if your family has a history of heart problems and/or you are past the age of 50. Lots of things can cause chest pain and only a doctor will be able to give you an accurate diagnoses.
My whole family does not have any heart problem and i am 17y/o. Can give me some example of thins that cause it?
Cough/Cold, Pleurisy, Pericarditis, Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy, Mitral Valve Prolapsed, Syndrome X, Acid Reflux, Gallstone Symptoms, Anxiety, and congenital heart abnormalities are just a few that I was able to find that could be a cause of chest pains for a young adult. There are more things that can cause chest pains. Again though I suggest you go see a doctor as they are gonna be the only ones that will be able to accurately diagnose you.
Go see a doctor. It might be something really, really bad. You know, do it just in case.
Please see a doctor about this: it's probably nothing but it could be something serious, so why take the risk?
