Is it normal to have feeling of dread.

The short story is, after watching the news and it's mainly about ISIS I tend to worry a lot about my own safety as I work at an Airport and this is constantly on my mind while at work and I tend to be constantly watching people, but recently this has started to flow in to my home life as it is tiring me out mentally which in turn makes me irritable as I have this sense of dread constantly hanging over me.

Where is this Airport? If it's not close to ISIS territory, there's plenty of things that are more likely to kill you.

... Okay that probably didn't help.
It's normal to worry about things. But if there's nothing you can do about them, try to move on.
Or hey, maybe you can even see this as a good thing. Sometimes it helps to think about death. It can give you a perspective on what really matters. You can't do anything about ISIS but you can change the things in your life you'd regret if you died tomorrow.
