Is it normal to have fine lines at 25?

Hey, is it normal to have a few very fine lines at 25? I mean very faint ones that you can see will get deeper and turn into wrinkles? Is 25 quite young for this? I'm not especially paranoid about getting older and looking older, I just wonder what the average is to start getting fine lines.

Thanks for replies. I eat fairly well, don't get to much sun (partly because I can't... live in the UK!) I drink a lot of water too.

I have just noticed a couple of fine lines around my eyes - but the skin there is weaker anyway, I guess. I do catch myself frowning sometimes and have had a bit of a stressful couple of years, so perhaps it's taken its toll : /

scary12, I also have a line on my forehead too - have had that for the last decade, though - it's genetic!

Stay out of the sun. I'm 40 but people often assume I'm in my late 20s or early 30s. I realize I look younger partly because of good genetics, but also since I live in a colder climate and don't get much sun exposure.

I also live a healthy lifestyle, don't smoke, drink moderately, etc. Though I'm getting some fine lines, but it doesn't really bother me much since I still look fairly youthful. I also see it as other people's problem not mine-I fully accept some of my flaws.

I'm your age and I have them too due to sun and human exposure (social behaviour makes me frown a lot). It's normal. You may also have dry skin; moisturizing cream would help.

    Yeah, it is pretty normal.

If you don't eat complete garbage, drink enough water and you don't smoke/hang around cigarette smoke and you don't expose yourself to the sun too much without some sort of sun protection, than I would say that you're fine, because aside from stupid, expensive beauty treatments and moving to a completely unpolluted area of the country, that's about all you can do to not age like a leather bag.

Sun damage can cause lines and wrinkles at a young age
