Is it normal to have hair on my boobs

It used to be super small and not that obvious, if not not obvious at all, but one day, when I was 16, I cute the hair surrounding my areola and now it grew bigger. It looks super ugly and I was wondering if it okay to wax it because I don't want to have breast cancer. And If i have a hormonal issue, what do I do? Am I okay? am I normal?

    totally normal

    commonly referred to as nipple hair

    almost all women have it

    it's thicker on men

    most of mine are light and thin, but when their is a dark one, I gently pluck it with the tweezers. just make sure you pull the skin taught so it doesn't hurt.
