Is it normal to have hearing loss as a teen?

So when I was around 12 I went on a swing. End of story.
But if it only were...... I had been having pain in my head (Like the kind when you blow on a balloon too much, or hyperventilate) whenever I went on something that went up or down (Such as a swing, elevator, airplane, rollercoaster) After I went on this especially monuments swing ride, I came off feeling very dizzy, nauseous, and the world was spinning all around me. I told my mom, but she said it was perfectly normal, and she "loves that feeling"
After that occasion, my hearing has slowly gone down in my right ear, my left one seems fine (not sure about it though) When I was 14 my mom took my to the doctor for my checkup. For the hearing part, they played 3 very average hearing ones and then said I have "perfect hearing" I knew otherwise.... And now, I have trouble hearing words a lot more than when I was younger, I have had some quite strange tinnitus (that's a constant thing also) and random vertigo.
The reason I am asking you is that; I have lived with it for so long, it seems normal. My mom called it normal. So, do you?

Please answer the following questions to help me understand your situation..
Do you ask people to repeat themselves quite often?
Do people tell you to turn the volume down when you watch TV or play music?

If yes then you do have some problems that can't be taken lightly.
