Is it normal to have ideas for personalities?

It's been happening more and more lately, but i have ideas for people. Like ill be doing some humdrum activity, and then a name and personality traits will pop into my head, like a character in a story.

Does this happen to everyone? Or am i a naturally born writer or something.

    Well, we won't be able to tell you if you're a natural born writer because you asked a question, you didn't write a story.

    Well, I do this too, but I consider myself to be a narturally born writer. Do you write? Do you like to write at all? If you don't you will probably find it very enjoyable. I plan on making a living out of it, myself, and I know making characters is one of my favorite parts of doing so. I wouldn't say it was abnormal, and would take pride in it and view it as a good think. It's a talent!
