Is it normal to have no friends?

I literally have no friends outside my family. is that normal? I used to have friends, but when I dropped out of high school I just stopped talking to them. I think that they might think that I am dead, because I did not give any warning I just stopped going to class one day, and never spoke to any of them again.

I'd say it's pretty normal for a high school dropout to have trouble making friends.

No idea what a phd is in your mind.
Generally, I consider those who couldn't finish high school, in a western nation without an economic necessity, to be quitters. Not the sort of person I could rely on if the going got tough, therefor not one I'd likely have for a friend.
        What's sarcastic about that, sweetheart?

Normal for highschool and transition periods. I am 40 and married...yet never had 'friends' to speak of unless i needed something from someone...then i am your best friend.

IIN? Probably should hear advice from people who have normal empathy and remorse...but friends are just tools waiting to be called apon

Yeah it's normal. All of my friends are dropouts and all of us have no friends.

  • Do you want friends outside the family or are you ok without them? Why did ypu drop out of school? You can make friends by sighning up for ged courses. Then you will kind of kill two birds with one stone so to say.
