Is it normal to have people from your past be in your dreams often?

When I have dreams, occasionally there are people from my past in them,usually people that I knew in high school. Primarily, a high school friend who died a few years after we graduated appears in my dreams often. It's been about 4 years since she died. We were good friends in high school. But, she appears in my dreams more often than I actually think about her.

Is it normal for people from your past that you haven't talked to in years be in your dream?

    I have the same, since this part of life is quite a big one i believe that something as this just has a great impact on us and our life. The school-life is usually our prime-time that teaches us a lot, including all the social-experiences as a young one.

    I always have recurring dreams about being in the high school marching band, and or working at a radio station.

    This happens to me too dude. I meet people from my primary school all the time in my dreams, apart from they're grown up now.
