Is it normal to have really loud upstairs neighbors?
I live in a small two-story apartment, well three stories counting the garage underneath. A family of 5 moved into the upstairs apartment right above mine and we have really thin floors so I hear them all the time.
They stomp everywhere they go and when I'm home it usually doesn't stop, like for hours. Every few minutes I hear a loud THUMP that causes my body to release adrenaline because it's random and sounds like a really loud bass drum that I can feel through my entire body.
The kid is the worst though, he runs everywhere, sometimes back and forth and jumps whenever he stops or gets going again. If you look at sitting water it ripples like the puddle in Jurassic Park whenever they stomp, so this is like what's happening in my body.
Is this just something you have to deal with? How do you cope? (Already complained and talked to them).
