Is it normal to have road range when you're a passenger?

Idk why, but whenever I am in a car as a passenger, I get road rage. It's even worse when I ride the bus to school because everyone is annoying. Every time I listen to music and every time the bus stops, I have to pause my mp3 and it makes me so irritated. However, I do keep my range in my head because it's rude for the driver to hear.

    Why pause the mp3? Isn't half the reason of earphones is to distract yourself? Unless of course you want to be annoyed.

    Are you driving a road ranger from the passenger's seat or are you checking the mileage of your trip as a passenger?
