Is it normal to have soap-to-towel ratios?
In public bathrooms, it's no secret there are usually soap and paper towel dispensers available. I was wondering if you all feel there's an invisible system for both.
When washing my hands, the number of hits for soap and paper towels is crucial. Some numbers are more favorable than others - for example, I would rather have 4 hits over 6, and 7 hits over 4.
Then I add the hits from each so that the sum is a desired number. If the sum ends up being a two-digit number, the sum of its digits should then be a desired number. I've developed a pattern in which numbers I choose as well:
3, 4, 7, and 8 are usually my goal.
There's no bias on 2 or 9.
I generally avoid 1 and 6.
5 needs to be avoided.
Never can I allow any number to equal 5, whether it's soap hits, towel hits, the sum, or the sum of the sum's digits.
I know the numbers will vary if others are like this. Even so, is it normal to have these sorts of complex ratios and systems?
