Is it normal to have this much imagination?

This is really tough to explain but ever since i can remember i have had a really insane imagination. When i was six i used to grab a hairbrush and pretend it was a plane and stuff. When i turned around 10 i started to use a remote and convey my imagination through it. It sounds weird but i used either remotes or pencis/pens to do this.
My imaginary stories are really complex now and i can imagine anything fairly vividly. I can only use my full potential when i have have a remote or pencil in my hand and when i start to imagine i dont notice much in my real surroundings because of my focus in the imaginary world. IF anyone can relate let me know haha. Im really skeptical anyone else knows exactly what i go through tho.

When I write books, I create whole worlds and civilizations in my head. Use your talent for something useful eg. Story book writer, comic designer etc etc

  • You should become a comic book artist, it sounds like the perfect job for you.

You really sound like you are intuitive! You really ought to try the same thing you're describing with crystals like amethyst, quartz, etc. Also visualization is a powerful power of the mind. Try asking yourself a question that you want to know, kind of like you tell yourself before you go to bed that you want to wake up at 8 o'clock and you do. Ask yourself something and then just meditate and let the answer find you. It works!

I pretend pieces of popcorn are spaceships and that they're all fighting eachother. Then I bite off the broken parts of each ship. I'm happily 18 years old.

I registered just so I could comment. I do something similar, but I "fiddle" with my fingers or strands of my hair, and only when I do one of those can I imagine something vividly. I am also an aspiring writer.

Every fiction writer goes through the same thing.

Not bad ideas^^. I really should start writing down the stories. I was just curious if anyone else has the same odd habit i did. People used to give me weird looks when i did it out of boredom in class. (cant blame em. it looks odd lol)
