Is it normal to have your computer burst into flames

So I was on my computer yesterday and it stared making this buzzing noise. At first I ignored it but after a while it got irritating. So I turned off my computer and made plans to go the shop and see if they could fix it. I go to the shop the next day and they say that my computer is perfectly fine and that they didn't know why I brought it in. So that night I got on the computer and while I am waiting for to start I go get myself a cup of coffee from my kitchen. So while I am getting my coffee my computer bursts into flames. Is this normal?

Is it a MacBook air by any chance. I've read many complaints as well as personally had mine to have an overheating. There's times when the fan gets so LOUD and hot. Sometimes, I wonder if it is going to catch on fire.

Maybe that shop did something nasty to it.

I've had smoke from a cheap power supply but never flames. I heard of a motherboard that could catch fire randomly. This faulty motherboard is easily recognized by a "Gatling gun"-style heatsink on the chipset.

You got a dell? Standard on their new systems you can take it off but it'll void your warranty.

It's perfectly normal for a Windows machine. Just be grateful you're not using Linux, otherwise you'd have dragons to deal with as well as flames.

This is uncommon, it was probably the CPU or the power supply that caused it, as both those things (there are more but these are most likely) get hot, check that your cpu fan is not covered with thick dust, same for ur power pack
