Is it normal to hear someone whispering your name

When I'm alone at night I hear someone whisper my name over and over. This has been happening every night I'm by myself for the past year or so. I've tried saying things back and it sometime stops after that. It bothers me a lot some nights and I have trouble sleeping because of it but I've gotten sorta used to it. Last night the whispering was louder though and eventually I heard a whisper directly in my ear say "I'm right here." Now I'm kinda concerned and wondering if this is normal

    I was once working in the garden and started to get dehydrated and overheated. I heard my mom call my name from somewhere in the wood, though she was miles away. Fast forward a couple years, I was working at the nursery my mom worked at 20 years prior - I started to get overheated and got the same feeling I got when I heard my name being called in the garden. Weird shit happens when the body is deprived of things.

    It's not really normal, but every so often I hear a woman's voice repeatedly calling my name and occasionally I get sleep paralysis. So, you're not the only one.

    Do a search on spiritual warfare and learn the prayer of St Michael the Archangel! Also you can say, "Satan, I rebuke you in the name of Jesus Christ, and or by the Power of the blood of the lamb I rebuke Satan!"

    If you it continues, then seek the help of a professional. I think it's fine to consult a Catholic priest in addition to seeking psychiatric help. You're house could be haunted. Get your house blessed or at the very least get some Holy water to bless your house.

    Hallucinations are more common when you're tired. hallucinations are often real things that others do not perceive. Don't be alarmed but maybe ask what the voice wants. Don't let them into your body though.

        To me it seems our minds are receptors for frequencies that are in out atmosphere, similar to radiowaves, x rays, and other invisible frequencies that people usually don't think about.
        We could describe these frequencies our minds pick up on as thoughts, which our minds pick up on. Thoughts are everywhere, and we are just a collection of thoughts. When thoughts learn to communicate with us they can have different intents. Sometimes they are hostile and sometimes peaceful or neutural. The hostile ones are easiest to get rid of by making then know they are unwelcome, but trying to make them angry is a bad idea.

    That's creepy because your post reminds me of my childhood OP. I had problems with sleep when I was younger but I don't think it's normal unless you are experiencing Sleep Paralysis when you hear these things.
