Is it normal to hear voices no one else can hear?

It happens most often in my basement, but sometimes in other people's homes or even public places. They are always the same voices though, there are like 5 of them. I know because there is this one voice that does not speak English very well and it switches to French or something when it gets excited. I think it is a man's voice but you know how the French are, it is hard to tell for sure. I asked my gf about it but she was like 'it's just the house settling' or whatever, so I know she doesn't hear them. Is it normal? I mean, I know most people probably don't hear the same voices, but is it normal to hear voices like this?

PS I forgot, there are actually 6 voices but one of them is a cat, that's why I forgot. It just meows and that's it. I do not know if it is meowing in English or French.

    I'll be honest here. I'm not a psychiatrist but I don't think it's normal.

    ...to hear voices I mean. Not to not be a psychiatrist.

    yeah I wouldn't worry but would consult a psychiatrist or tell your medical doctor.

    I currently have 6 voices in my head

    one screams when my mother speaks
    one says ways of harming/killing people
    one plays music
    one narrates everything i do
    one tells me how to act in public around other people
    one tells me to harm myself

    thats for me idk if other people hear more than once voice but thats just what i hear some voices come and go but those are the ones that i can hear at this moment whilst writing this so yea, the most i have ever had at once was 9, i act completely normal making dumbass jokes with people that i fake to pretend to like but in reality i'm just talking with the voices XD

    Are they telling you bad things, or to do bad things? If so get help. If not Joan of Arc saw visions and heard voices, look what she did. Many people believe the voices she heard and the visions were from God. You are not alone. I often hear voices and see people not really there, but I have learned to tell the difference, and they don't tell me bad things or tell me to do bad things,so in my opinion it is not harmful.
