Is it normal to hear your phone ring even when it isn't ringing?

It's not always just the phone that I hear again. It feels like a flashback of a stressful event when it happens, but occasionally it will be words someone had said a moment ago when I'm finally alone. It could also be a strange or interesting sound that recurs. If I could have, I'd have given the option to allow multiple responses.

    That is so weird there have been times when i felt my phone vibrate in my pocket but my phone was on the table.

    Things are getting strange i'm starting to worry.
    This could be a case for Mulder and Scully.

    Usually I would hear that little sound that plays when you have a new email. I would hear it randomly and almost anywhere, even when I haven't received a new email. So it's normal. I've heard of cases where people feel their phone vibrate when it didn't. There was a name for that but I don't remember it now.
