Is it normal to imagine conversations and situations in my head?

Sometimes I think of conversations and situations in my head. Most of the time they could never happen. Sometimes people walk on on my muttering them underneath my breath. I pretend to sing or something else. My point is imagine these things and sometimes the become verbal. I don't consider it talking to myself because I'm not responding I just say what I see in my head.

omg I though I was the only one! it'sike, your not talking to yourself because your not answering, but it's not actually meant for anybody else to hear. like saying your thought out loud to get the point over to yourself? like examining something to yourself? like clarifying something to yourself even though you know exactly what your trying to say.

I have the same thing. I doze out and have like 3 conversations in my head at once. But when start to think that much, my mind takes over my body. Like I'll be cleaning up the dinner table, and I'll throw everything away, plates, leftovers, ect. But I'm learning how to control my self, as before I would start to "talk to myself" in class, now I can stop my self and usually do it at home. My mom thinks I'm crazy, my dad understands, he's the same way. So it's not exactly normal, but there are others out there like you an me(:

Yeah I do this alot in social environments. I find it happens when I get moderately bored.
