Is it normal to inspect the toilet roll after wiping?

When i do a dump i tend to inspect the toilet roll before folding and wiping again. IIN? Once before the stain on the loo roll resembled a giraffe, this scared me and i couldn't wipe again with it, it kind of freaked me out.

    A little gross, but I guess I look to, just to make sure i'm not rubbing poo back into where I just took it from!

    Sick. Not normal unless you're checking for a type of bowel problem in which their could be blood.
