Miscarriages can effect women in many ways, I heard cases of women going crazy and kidnapping babies claiming it is theirs because of their trauma... and some mothers keeping the babies dead body or unable to clean out the room that was supposed to be for their child..
I was just wondering is this normal. I mean the trauma they go through is considered normal but how is one really supposed to behave.
If you have a stillborn then you usually keep the baby for a few hours afterwards to cuddle and bathe it. It's a standard thing that hospitals do, which is supposed to help with the grieving process.
Yeah trauma is a tough thing. I think it is normal for mothers to struggle to clean out the child’s room. That would probably take some time for them to come around. Keeping the baby’s dead body is a bit odd. I would think that it would be better for them to have the baby cremated and then keep the ashes.
How are they supposed to behave...well not kidnapping children is a start.

I've heard of some families keeping the baby for a short period of time to aid the griecing process...I think the hospitals assist in keeping the body cooled through the process. It is meant to help. It gives me the creeps and I wouldn't want to, but I've never been the parent of a dead baby, so I wouldn't know.
Did you happen to just watch baily sarians video yesterday, this post reminds me of the video.
There are no easy answers for dealing with trauma.
Its not abnormal to keep a body for at least a few days...
There are cases where bodies have been kept for decades... While it is eventually buried... I've never heard of any charges against the parents for cases of natural death of a baby.
It's a truely terrible affair. If that happened to me, I would cremate it and then scatter the ashes. Not all life succeeds, but through the ashes, a new life can get a kickstart.
