Is it normal to laugh when in pain

Sometimes when I'm in pain i laugh. Its so weird like when i was getting my tattoo done the other day i started laughing suddenly. The guy thought there was something wrong with me.

    I do this a lot as well haha. Sometimes it's just fun feeling pain. I'd say it's pretty normal too. A lot of my friends are the same way.

    Believe it or not but pain releases endorphins into your brain. I have laughed on a couple occasions while in pain.

    I was reading something quite some time ago about how laughing actually is a defense mechanism to help us with dealing with pain. For example, if someone were to have some moderate pain like getting cut or falling down and hurting yourself, one would laugh or swear, lol.
