Is it normal to leave a job i just started for higher pay job?

I just started ups as a dock worker 3 months ago. they pay 12 and have a super outdated way of doing things. I just found out that another shipment company pays 20 and a much better work environment. Would it be alright to try and apply to the other job? will transferring so fast look bad on my record?

Well you will need to come up with a good explanation on why you decided to change jobs considering your potential employers might want to use your current employer for a reference check.
