Is it normal to leave an email account open after using a computer?

I have seen people do this. I usually just sign them out as a courtesy especially if they are using the same email provider that I use i.e. Hotmail. Is it normal to do this?

    No, they're crazy and naive! You're a wonderful person to sign them out and not abuse the situation. Your actions show that you have good character. You've been taught well. It's nice to know that there are still good people out in the world. :)

    It's also apparently normal to mis-configure your smtp server as an open relay.

    yea sum ppl just forget..a lot of ppl actually hence why their pages get raped! I always sign them out too...
