Is it normal to lick my lips all the time?

Hey guys, so basically when I'm not doing anything like say I'm stuck in queue at the store or in a waiting room just sitting there I start licking my lips. So many guys have hit on me because they think I'm flirting with them,when I'm really not its just that I don't notice I'm doing it. Does anyone else do this too?I've become a little more conscious of it so I try to stop myself whn I think I'm doing it but I still get looks

    Your spit contains enzymes that will eat away at that sensitive skin as you do that; it's not just water breaking down your food. You're partially digesting your lips, which is why they get chapped. Hope that deters you a bit so people will quit bothering you! :)

    Haha yeah I know that I do it too... everyone has something they do without noticing it... e.g. I always have my mouth open while watching a movie for which people make fun of me -.-
