Is it normal to lick your pet?

That is just nasty. Hamsters roll around in their own poo and have tons of germs. It would be weird with any other pet too.

Hamsters aren't clean animals since they poo everywhere and pee all over the cage, even if they have toilet corner. (I've owned 6 myself)

So basically it's not something I think is hygenic to do.

I don't think that is normal AT ALL!!! I had a hamster. They stink, an I don't think animals "kiss" anyways. That is a human trait of emotion

If shes a small child I can see why she might think to lick a hamster but...its still gross and totally unnecessary. Hamsters arent that sentimental, most of them eat their own babies :/

It's normal to try and understand your pet/ but not to go to an extreme that dangers your health

Ok,i know for a fact that I'm weird but i sorta do it to.but to my dog.i do almost everything with her! i play puppies with her,bite and lick. i tackle her sleep with her and even go in the bath with a bathing suit with her! and she loves me just the same! myy dad Pretended to fight and punch me to see what she'd do and she growled,barked,and tried to bite my dad to make him stop punching me! and she is just to darn cute. I would with my hamster too (if I had one). but I would give it a bath first. and I'm a dog expert and dogs dont lick to kiss,the lick to show your dominent over them in the pack because they think of us as there pack.they do that in the wild too, they often lick the leaders and dominent ones in the pack.which my dog knows I'm more dominent then her for sure, I'm the one with aposable thumbs! :)

Yeah. I used to do that all the time. I'd even kiss them on the lips and squeeze them really hard. They're just so cute...
