Is it normal to lie about your act score?

There were a few people in my school who claimed to have a very high ACT score (34+) and to be frank, I don't believe they could actually get that high. Did you ever lie about any score or grade to seem smarter/dumber than you really are? Is it normal to do this?

I got 117,232 points on the ACT so I have no reason to lie.

  • One of the smartest guys I know has an ACT score lower than colleges require for admission.

It doesn't take an intelligent person to memorize facts for a test nor does it take a dummy to do poorly on one.

I never took the ACT or SAT. If I did, I wouldn't lie about it but if I wanted to keep it to myself, I would keep it to myself.

You do realize your score can be verified right?

When I had to give my score out a long long time ago they wanted to see the original document.
