Is it normal to lie to your doctor?

I was at the doctor yesterday for an appointment I thought was about my knee, but it turned out it was for a checkup. It was all about my eating habits and stuff...I lied about several things like my last period and my exercise habits, because MY MOM wanted to come in the room with me. I don't want my mom to know the truth about that stuff.

Your mom has no right to be in there with you if you so choose. No matter who is paying, it is YOUR consultation.
However, your doctor may choose to discuss some things with your mom if you are not an adult, if he feels it is important to your health.
On the other hand, if you don't tell the doctor the truth, then don't bother wasting the money on the visit.
Without the truth, your doctor has no basis for making recommendations. Just like on the computer, garbage in, garbage out.

No worries, they'll see the blood tests and get a good picture of your health status. That's mostly trivial small talk. They're expecting you to fib a bit.
