I REALLY like cats. Most people think cats are cute, but I look at them and think they're beautiful and it's almost like I have a crush on them. I have very few friends, like one or two at a time, and I never get really close with them. Sometimes, I push people away just to be at home with my cats. I feel a lot more comfortable with cats than with humans, I can tell them anything and they have no idea what the fuck I'm saying. Also, they don't really judge me when I do weird things.
I've had this one cat for about four years now, and I think I might be in love with her. I treat her as if she and I are dating. Actually, we pretty much are dating.One time, I even rejected this really cute boy that asked me out because I felt like I'd be cheating on her.
Is it healthy and normal to like cats this much?

    Perhaps, you were a cat in a past life. If you were a cat now it would be only normal for you to find your feline brethren to be beautiful but that is not the case. You are a human which means that your feelings aren't normal.

        While I always have had a leaning towards felines (not sexual!), I don't think I was though, when I was a kid, I often behaved as if I were.

    I really don't think that's healthy. I think you should consider therapy to help you connect better with people and become less emotionally dependent on your cats.

    I feel the same way, except the dating part... I do sometimes make jokes though, saying that I'm in a committed monogamous relationship with my cat. And I do find cats incredibly beautiful, like I could just watch them for hours.. and I have, but then, I have also watched my pet fish and mice for hours.. I guess I just like observing them.

    I call my cat my baby, cause to me she is, since i can't have kids. But to think you are dating your cat is really weird.........I am gonna say no, it's not normal. You might wanna see a counselor about that.

    I caught myself watching a youtube video about a cat. That was yesterday. I asked myself, 'Self, what the fuck are you watching?'

    Sure, cats are cute and all, but I don't have time to be wasting watching them climb into baskets and shit...

    Then again, I really shouldn't have been on youtube in the first place if that the point I was trying to make... Nevermind then.
