I like rats. I've had several for pets and they were super friendly and never bit. I think they are adorable, to me they look like squirrels without the fuzzy tails. I will always like rats but is that normal?

I love rats they're gorgeous. I remember taking my daughter to a farm in Wales and baby rats had been born (so cute)one had been rejected though. I would have had him if I could. How can anything that gorgeous be rejected? xxxx
Yes, I have had one rat before and he was the sweetest thing ever. I have a new one now and he is the biggest brat on the planet.
Rats make great pets, they are smart, clean (i know its hard to imagine but it is true), and they don't bite unless they mistake your hands for food.
Rats can be great pets. As long as you keep them clean and healthy. Be careful as rats often spread diseases. For the rest, their just like other animals, loving and loyal to their owners.
Vom. They walk and lay amongst their own excrement. Also, if you have a rat wandering freely around your house, YOU'LL be walking and laying amongst their excrement as well.

I've had ten of them as pets. They're the sweetest little things. I used to sneak my fat white one into the movie theater in my purse. He'd help himself to my popcorn and sleep on my lap. I even think that the wild ones are cute, but of course I give them their space.
My rat was one of the best pets I've ever had...I'm getting ready to buy two more hairless ratttys!
Lol I had 1 and well long story short... JEALOUS OF THAT RAT!! he ended up living for about 3 years, first few months in a cage and the rest with my dad's friend in his house with no cage drinking from a tiny coffee cup!! :)
Rats make great pets. They are like hamsters will long tails. My niece has two. Problem: they only live 18 months.

I think all rodents are adorable, I have a guinea pig. Everyone likes different animals, rats are cute too! Just like some people love snakes & retiles..etc.
