Is it normal to like scaring cats?

First of all, I love animals. I'd NEVER intentionally harm one in any way. With that in mind, I like scaring cats. For example... I'm on my computer or whatever and my cat tries to creep in my room. So he's all stealthy and stuff and treads closer to me. When this happens, I feel a strong urge to frighten him, and I comply. He's a little skittish (kind of like me) so all I do is jump up a bit, spread my arms out and make sharp "tss" sound at him.

Then my kitty runs away into the living room fairly quickly. I can't help but smile.

I love him but it's so tempting... except when he's all casual with his entrance. I just ignore or pet him then.

    its normal to like scaring cats (and other animals). i guess we just like doing it for the fun of it =) i used to do it too!

    My cat is 30lbs. If I scare her she might fuck me up!

    omg i dont scare my cat cuz she too fukn old, but when it comes to my dogs... omfg that shit is funny... especially my chihuahua he pisses all over the place

    I've never intentionally scared my cats but if I surprise them by accident, it is sort of funny to see their reactions.

    It makes me think aww bless, and want to hug them. :)

    Lol I love scaring my cats too. One of them gets so scared sometimes that the fur on his tail just gets all puffy and just so big. Kinda looks like a raccoons tail.
