Is it normal to like science-fiction?

Or are people who like science-fiction just a clique of geeky nerds? Why or why not?

    I LOVE sci-fi. I'm a geek, but I really don't give a damn. I take pride in it anyway. Sci-fi rocks!

    Why wouldn't it be normal?

    • Maybe because a lot of science-fiction fans act so weird, like nerdy and geeky?

That said, I must confess I have always kind of liked SF, tho now in my later years I am not into it as much as I was as a geeky, mother-dominated kid.

I did really love STAR TREK, and the first STAR WARS films had some appeal to me.

"Awesome"? Really? I's say, sometimes yay and sometimes nay. Lots of Sci-Fi is sure nuff trash.

Was into Dr. Who for quite awhile.

Science fiction is the best. Read Hyperion, hands down the best science fiction book I have read.

I've never been considered a geek- I love science fiction. Some of the best horror books/films are such.
