sci-fi is the best, man. Foundation series by Isaac Asimov, Dune by Frank Herbert. That shit be amazing, and I'm really not a nerd.
I LOVE sci-fi. I'm a geek, but I really don't give a damn. I take pride in it anyway. Sci-fi rocks!
Maybe because a lot of science-fiction fans act so weird, like nerdy and geeky?
That said, I must confess I have always kind of liked SF, tho now in my later years I am not into it as much as I was as a geeky, mother-dominated kid.
I did really love STAR TREK, and the first STAR WARS films had some appeal to me.
"Awesome"? Really? I's say, sometimes yay and sometimes nay. Lots of Sci-Fi is sure nuff trash.
Was into Dr. Who for quite awhile.
Science fiction is the best. Read Hyperion, hands down the best science fiction book I have read.
I've never been considered a geek- I love science fiction. Some of the best horror books/films are such.
There's a reason Star Wars and Star Trek are so popular...
Because Science ficiton is awesome.
