Is it normal to like spiders being extremely afraid of them?

I've ever been afraid of spiders, so much that I can't even stay close to them, or think of them when I'm in bed, because then I'd think that one of them could come down from the ceiling and walking on my face, and this would be a very uncomfortable situation! Despite this, I like them and when I see one, I'd like to take it in my hand and watch it closely. Is it normal?

    I'm the exact same way! I love spiders. I've got a black widow tattooed on my back but at the same time, I'm afraid of them. The thought of them crawling on me gives me the heebs, but I want to try to get rid of this phobia because I don't like to kill them, but can't keep them in my house, lol :D

    I love jumping spiders, they're so cute! But as soon as one jumps close to me I'm like... oh heeeeell no.
