Is it normal to like the natural smell of cats ?

Okay I've noticed this for awhile but whenever my cat goes outside then comes in the house, and when he comes sits on my lap or beside me I sometimes smell him and he smells really good. Even if he doesn't go outside, he has a natural good smell. Like I don't smell his butt ( that's disgusting ), I just smell his fur.

Is that normal???

    I love the way my cat's fur smells too. Whenever I cuddle with her, I always bury my face into her long fur and breathe deeply. It's very comforting.

    Yup cats smell nice but dogs stink.
    I also burry my nose into my cats fur and take a deep whiff but a dog's smell makes me nauseous especially in a car or other enclosed space.

    I love the smell of my cats Fur! It's so comforting. My wife thinks i'm crazy....I'm so glad i'm not the only one!!!

    I love to do the very same thing. Cats are really clean animals too, so that's probably one of the reasons. Cats just smell soft :P

    I love the way the fur on my cat's tummy smells. She has a pleasant, feline sort of scent. I can't describe it any other way.

    I'm allergic to cat fur but I adore them and I love having them near me. It's my problem and I'll deal with it.
