Is it normal to look the same?

Ever since I was 10, I've looked exactly the same. Same height, same face, same everything. I'm now almost 20 and I find it very strange to not age at all. I know I should be proud to look young, but I find myself jealous over all my friends who actually look like their age. And because I look like I'm 15, and will most likely look this way till my early 40s (my father had the same problem), it'll be hard to get a job in my profession. I'm studying education, and surely schools won't want to hire someone who looks like they could so much as going there. I've even considered switching professions, maybe to English to become an editor or what not. Is this normal to feel this way? Is it even normal at all to not age a lick from the years before your teens? Does anyone else have this problem, and are there any types of solutions for it?

Even if you're still baby-faced, there are some things you could do to alter your appearance. If you're male, have you considered growing some kind of beard? If you're female, make-up (see a consultant) and picking more mature (structured/tailored-fit) kind of clothing and accessories. Body language and demeanour play a huge role in the way we come across as well. A confident walk and presence and a strong voice should help lend you an air of authority. I wouldn't give up on my goals because of this. With experience you can only grow more self-assured. After a while you'll naturally project this confidence.
