Is it normal to lose yourself on reading wikipedia?

Sometimes I'm reading (studying, checking etc.) something on wiki and see an interesting blue link so I click it and read that article instead and then more blue links and more and sometimes I end up with having a lot of opened panels in Firefox. Mostly it's something I don't really care about and I end up quite far from what I've firstly wanted. Thoughts?

This is like the funnest thing to do, plus it's educational. It's the nature if our mind is to know stuff. and know stuff, we shall.

I do this with all types of websites, very normal. It's like an online learning journey.
