I have always had an affinity for clowns and circus things in general.

Clowns get a bad rap these days for being "creepy," which I get, but I find them to be "creepy" in an alluring way that doesn't actually scare me.

We all know there are a few bad clowns who steal all the clown attention, so I hope nobody mentions it.

I want to go about town as a clown. I want my friends to join--wait, what friends? Just kidding.

I love clowns. What do you think?

    Its normal. I think most are conditioned to think everyone else hates clowns and therefore clowns are subject to being hated by those who are insecure enough to not say clowns are good fun for the fear of being told they're wrong.

    I ADORE clowns. Particularly the ones modelled after Pierrot. I mean Pierrot clowns are so somber and beautiful and just absolutely lovely to look at, though I've never had the pleasure of seeing one perform. I also love the goofy regular ones though! They're cheeky and adorable and hilarious!! My mother cares for seniors and I once went to work with her at this woman's house. Her house was so wonderfully decorated. Each wall was a different shade of purple and in her shower was a bouquet of royal purple and lilac loofahs. In her lounge room were wooden African tribal statues and masks and in her living room was a glass display case full of the most beautiful porcelain clown figures. There had to have at least been a hundred there! She also had clownish sock monkey type toys in her bedroom, it was such a treat to see :))
