Is it normal that I love murder ? Well, it's more of an obsession. I mean I love seeing murdered bodies. On a daily basis I look online at the pics of Jeffery Dahmers victims & read about Ted Bundy & every other sereal killer I could think of. My parents think I'm a psychopath & that I need to be intitutionalized & it's gotten to the point where my boyfriend wont go to sleep unless im asleep already. He says I have the mind of John gacey but the balls of a newborn. I'm not violent but I'm afraid I could be pushed or that I'm insane or something.

    I don't think you love murder, instead I think that you are fascinated with death. A love of murder would imply a love to torture, at least in my opinion. I've read plenty of stories on here about people who are fascinated with dead bodies and or find beauty in blood. There's nothing wrong with your obsession, just don't commit something you'll regret later.

        Eh, I personally am fascinated with death. Which sort of draws into my desire for goth girls. But still, I wouldn't think of it as odd.

    FINALLY I'M NOT ALONE!!!

    I like to take pictures of guys and add blood to them to make it look like their dead. I also LOVE to write murder stories and poems, and drawing pics of dead guys. I'm facsinated by serial killers too. I like to think about twins one being a psychopath that kills his brother. I think I will turn this one into a story.

    I always loved it, and people and high school used to think I was crazy, but I could give two shits. My murder love is more of a sexual thing, though, I don't know about you. As long as you don't act on it, though, it should be fine:) And maybe you can channel it in a positive direction.I definatly like to channel mine in a creative direction. I can tell you that some of my best stories are because of it!

    It's good that your fascinated by murder and, not planning on doing it. I'm glad you aren't violent and, no you probably don't need to be institutionalized unless if you plan on shooting up a school or becoming a serial killers.

        Lol I also saw the pictures of the Black Dahlia crime scene, and many of Dahmers corpses. Funny how many real-world serial killers are scarier than the horror movie ones.

          Not scary... More creative. I love it. *secret* I used to get turned on by it but not any more.. I figured it was too weird & grew out of the feeling I guess. I dont know if I would be excited tohave that happen to me or see it up close or what..

    As long as you don't have an urge to kill people, I don't think it's a bad thing. I've read about them just because I'm curious to know what made them the way they are.

    It is an obsession with death. It's dangerous but fine when kept under control. Whether or not its normal is debatable. In popular thinking, a fascination is ok but an obsession never is. You may want to discuss it with someone more apt to help you so it doesn't become an issue and doesn't take over your life, like a counselor or psychiatrist. Also, find like-minded people to relate to.
