Is it normal to love pet fur?
I love cats and cats shed fur a lot. I always get fur on my clothes and walk around with it. Now I have guinea pigs and they shed fur too. It gets everywhere, I don't get rid of the fur. I'd look at it and just smile.

Hey, my name is Elisa and I am doing research for a new cable documentary series.
We're interested in your question-this kind of thing is one of the topics we're researching.
The show concept is very new, and we're just getting started, so I'm just reaching out to people to see if they are interested in chatting about the subject. I'm sorry for messaging you out of the blue like this but please reply if you’d like to talk, thanks!
It's normal to love to pet fur...
...but only when the fur is on the animal still.
Your main line is really misleading.
Sorry i read your story wrong. Thought you ment you liked to wear fur clothes
Whenever I find some cat fur on my clothing, it reminds me of the cat I got it from, which gives me a nice little flashback. I sometimes wonder if the hairs have tiny hooks at the ends that get attached to fabrics, because they kind of get stuck a bit.
Guinea pig fur is a different matter. One of my friends as a kid had guinea pigs and their house had a very distinctive smell. My parents could always tell when I'd been at her place because of the lingering smell.
Most people would brush it off but it doesn't really matter unless you need to be smartly dressed and make a good impression since people might think you just don't care or that your clothes are dirty.
