Is it normal to make collecting souvenirs a fetish?

All my life I wanted to keep my souvenirs, every one of them, one of my first souvenirs is that memento of a book I bought from the movies, it's "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe", before watching the movie in the cinema, that was a souvenir and it's gone missing.

I have other souvenirs such as an Adelaide tie and an Anzac Day medal, and patriotic clothes and patriotic hat, one of those clothes went missing and perhaps today I'll buy another one, it's probably a national Australian soccer singlet, coloured yellow, it says nothing about soccer but men at the soccer dress like that.

What happened to souvenirs I could've kept for good? Is that normal?
